Welcome, and thank you for visiting my website.
It features a selection of photographs from my travels across seven continents and more than 150 countries.
At nineteen, I embarked on my first solo journey around the world. Over the years, I lived in different countries and spent extended periods in Asia, Africa, and Latin America. My curiosity about people and cultures led me to pursue a degree in Anthropology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), followed by a Master of Science in Psychological Science from the University of Limerick, Ireland.
In my early twenties, I explored some of the most remote and historically rich regions of Yemen, Iran, Mali, and Afghanistan. When I photographed in Central Afghanistan, Bamiyan was relatively peaceful under the leadership of Habiba Sarābi—the country’s first female governor. She worked to advance women’s rights and environmental issues before being forced into exile in 2021.
The Afghanistan gallery offers a glimpse into that time—when Bamiyan was in a far better place than it is today. I hope these images serve as a reminder of what once was.
